Application Open for Singapore Lifesaving Team Manager and Coach for the Lifesaving World Championships 2026

Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the roles of TEAM MANAGER and TEAM COACH of the Singapore Lifesaving Team, representing Singapore and the Singapore Life Saving Society for the National Teams Open Lifesaving World Championships 2026.

The National Teams Open Lifesaving World Championships 2026 will be held at Nelson Mandela Bay, Gqeberha, South Africa from 2 to 6 Dec 2026. Expected travel dates are 28 Nov to 9 Dec 2026.

Mandatory pre-requisites for Team Manager:

·       Current individual member of SLSS, or a member of a current SLSS Affiliate/Associate member organisation, or approved SLSS personnel.

·       Have demonstrated a history of adherence to SLSS policies and Code of Conduct.

·       Have the ability to work collaboratively with others towards common goals, maintain confidentiality and resolve disputes professionally.

·       Able to commit to all Representative team selection trials and trainings, as well as travel with the Representative team to and back for the relevant competition.

Mandatory pre-requisites for Team Coach:

·       SLSS Lifesaving Teacher award.

·       Current Standard First Aid and CPR or higher award.

·       Have demonstrated a history of adherence to SLSS policies and Code of Conduct.

·       Have the ability to work collaboratively with others towards common goals, maintain confidentiality and resolve disputes professionally.

·       Able to commit to all Representative Team selection trials and trainings, as well as travel with the Representative Team to and back for the relevant competition.

Successful applicants will be required to pay a Team Levy of $3,400.
