Today, Singapore Life Saving Society is 55. It is a milestone built from the sacrifices and commitment of our pioneer lifesavers. Our leaders saw that we were an island city and knew the importance of water safety education and stepped forward boldly towards the mission of national drowning prevention. As we mark this milestone reflecting back, we too look forward with anticipation and hope. During this SLSS55 year, we will be embarking on a rebranding exercise.
